Hammer is a film that Me and Matias in year 10 proposed and we always loved the idea of making it, but we where only supposed to make a proposal and a poster in year 10, we had already written the opening so we already have an outline of what the opening is and the rest of my group seem to really like the idea. It's a Crime Thriller with Samuel L. Jackson and Lucas Black , Samuel being the Policeman and Lucas Black being The murderer.
The Opening Scene

The opening starts with a decorated military man getting out of his car & entering his home. The man hears noises coming from upstairs so he looks at a tool box lying on the floor and picks up a hammer out of it, he then walks upstairs to find his wife in bed with another man. He then tell the man to get out, this then leads to a close up of the mans hand tightening around the handle of the hammer, while is wife is still visible in the background but slightly out of focus. This then cuts the the titles 'Hammer' & the opening then finishes with a shot of a police man in a car with the radio on playing Sledge Hammer by Peter Gabriel.
Story Line
The story is of a serial killer who murders women and it's up to a policeman to find out who he is and find clues from each murder he commits, He kills 5 woman brutally each with different hammers ass because the man returns home from the army to hear noises coming from upstairs , thinking it's a burglar, after seeing a tool box by the side with a hammer on top, he picks it up to protect himself. He walks upstairs to find his wife cheating. After telling the man, who was with his wife, to leave she begins to plead with him; he becomes enraged and kills her with a hammer (This is the opening scene of the film).
The key part of the film is that in the opening scene we find out how the man became a murderer but you don't find out who it is as we the audience find out things at the same time the policeman does.
